A love for hobbies can manifest great things, and Stonewall Kitchen is no exception. In 1991, the company’s two founders expanded on their love of food, entertaining, and gardening and started selling items at local farmers’ markets in New England. Since the early ‘90s, they have grown to offering more than 400 specialty food items and 2,000+ complementary items. Stonewall Kitchen manufactures 80 percent of these goods and exemplifies the true meaning of selling through a multi-sales channel.
Throughout the company’s evolution, a sense of Community has always been a part of its core values. Contributing to their local communities is an integral part of the culture of Stonewall Kitchen. They implement this by supporting charitable organizations focusing on: Food Insecurities, children and families in crisis, Community Health and Safety, Animal Welfare, and Youth Enrichment programs.
Introducing Andrea Hall
This is where IT Director and D365UG BC/NAV member Andrea Hall comes in. Andrea has been a user group member since 2013 and has served as a board member. Andrea is no stranger to Microsoft Dynamics NAV software, as she has been a user since 1999. When Andrea first became involved in D365UG BC/NAV, she found herself impressed by the content made available to users.
“Right away, I thought it was more focused on the technical side of the solution, but after checking out the forums and speaking with D365UG BC/NAV members, I realize our non-technical people can benefit as well,” Andrea shares.
“I continue to volunteer because, One: It's so important to the work that I do. And Two: Honestly, because it's so much fun." - Andrea Hall
After being a D365UG BC/NAV member for a few years, Andrea felt the urge to give back to the community she had received so much from. “I decided to jump into volunteering because we’d been getting so much benefit and value from D365UG BC/NAV as an organization that it really felt time to give back to the group,” Andrea shares. She also notes that because D365UG BC/NAV is a “group of people, for the people,” it really depends on volunteers to do something positive for the group.
