Hello wonderful D365 Business Central/NAV User Group Community! I wanted to introduce myself as your Community's newest Engagement Manager (for End Users) taking over the reigns from my fantastic teammate, Judy Thompson, as she focuses more on User Renewals across all our Dynamic User Groups.
A little about me as a way of introduction:
- I've been with Dynamic Communities 3 years this January, and have attended 3 User Group Summit events (I met many of you in Orlando and am excited to connect with more at Community Summit in Nashville, 2020 and at events throughout the year!). I've been the Engagement Manager for the Dynamics GP User Group (GPUG) since January, 2017 and am thrilled to add your amazing group to my responsibilities.
- I live in Northern Virginia (15 minutes outside of Washington, DC) with my husband and 2 kids (Griffin,14 and Samantha 17) and dog Demi (7) and we all love our area sports - especially soccer, hockey and baseball (Go Nationals! :)
- My background includes working with small to mid-size Associations (National Home Infusion Association and Water Environment Federation) as well as larger companies such as USA Today and National Geographic in areas such as Membership, Marketing and Engagement. My favorite part? The fantastic opportunities to meet a variety of people while fostering and building Communities!
The four words that came up time and again when I asked @Mark Rhodes, @Laurie Kuehl and @Judy Thompson about this Community are: Passionate, Collaborative, Dedicated and Talented. I saw this first-hand during User Group Summit sessions, General Sessions and Volunteer Training Day as well as the First Timer's Reception where your current Board Members @Lewis Rosenberg and @Robb Delprado volunteered to welcome over 400 first time attendees (across all of the Dynamic and Power Platform User Groups) and share their tips and tricks on Summit survival. Here's a picture of them below - thanks Lewis and Robb!
Also big Kudos to the
All-Star Winners of D365 BCUG/NAVUG awarded at User Group Summit:
Remember, if you didn't get to attend User Group Summit - the Community is Always On! Through the Discussion Forum, Conferences, Chapters, Academy Classes, Live Webinars, Recorded Webinars, Volunteering, Professional Certificate Programs, Credentialing Exams (and so much more!) you can find varied ways to connect, engage, share and learn with each other.
I'm excited to be here with you all and looking forward to being a part of this tremendous Community. If you have questions about how you can be using your Member Resources or ways to become more engaged, please drop me a line!
