In this blog , we review 10 specific questions you can ask to uncover what’s really happening at your company. We were reviewing our Electronic invoice down loaded from UPS and noted we were being billed $1.05 per hundred prior to incentives for Declared Value Charges. I called UPS to inquire why were  being overcharged.  They indicated the tariff published at the end of December 2018 effective in 2019 raised the rate from 90 cents per hundred dollars of declared value, to $1.05. Our Var uploaded a corrected rate mode from Lanham this morning.  Have others encountered this situation? Here is the column legend for the UPS bill if you want to see what your were invoiced. i visited amsterdam the first time in my life, it was also the first summit i joined. the event is quite well organized, but there are to less nibbles for coffee break. but that is not so the point. so what is the point? a bit surprisingly many sessions were a kind of a marketing show from and for ISVs and/or partners. this can be interesting, if someone has a special interest in the products of the ISV, but it's not really interesting for the public, for people who are interested in news about BC in general. or ... power bi is a quite interesting tool and it's nice, that someone can make basic analysis reporting for BC data, but it's not specific BC. what ...

For The Love of NAV! Success & the Admin!             By Holly T. Kutil 02/14/19 I am grateful for a dear friend and mentor in the NAV space, Cynthia Priebe, it was our first encounter back in 2008 that sparked the flame that ignited into the blaze of passion I have for our beloved ERP we have called Navision, NAV and now Business Central.   It was a simple encounter where she pointed out that typing "t" in a date field would fill in the current date of 02/14/19 or "today's" date.  That tip sure seems like a small thing, but when you work in an ERP and type in the date 02/14/19 more than 100 times a day . . . It becomes a "BIG" thing!   That ...

Kutil 01/30/19   If you are an ERP Administrator and you find yourself sitting in a corner office or the basement, (depends on how much your boss likes you) looking out the window or staring at a computer monitor, waiting for the rest of the employees to knock on your door, I am here to tell you that you are doing it wrong.  If you have not found a group of ERP Administrators to network with on a regular basis, again you are doing it wrong.  An admin cannot live on an island and cannot do it alone so today we are going to talk about how to thrive and not just survive!  ...
