How much is it going to cost us? You have a ...

BCUG/NAVUG Summit Phoenix delivers 180+ breakout sessions and offers attendees a personalized learning experience through tracks based on industry, job roles, product version - including Business Central, and level of experience. Many organizations view BCUG/NAVUG Summit as an investment in their people and have found the best way to maximize knowledge consumption is to send a team of individuals representing several departments. BCUG/NAVUG Member, Stonewall Kitchen, LLC , is sending eight team members to BCUG/NAVUG  Summit in 2018. Organizations who send teams to BCUG/NAVUG  Summit find taking a 'divide and conquer' approach to the sessions aids ...

In preparing to write an article on the value of the Dynamics Credentialed Professional Certifications and what it would take to help you recognize the value of this certification, I found the “5 Reasons Certifications Aren’t Worth It” by David Bolton[1]. David is correct in his assessment of why many certifications provide no value but his list also makes it easy for me to explain why Dynamics Professional Credentials are the exception. “Software Technology Moves Too Fast” – Knowledge that’s relevant today quickly becomes outdated. If I use the NAV Core Application Setup exam as an example, it is designed to test experience and knowledge of setups ...

It’s been 7 months since my last blog and 8 months since our go live with Lanham Demand Planning and I cannot even begin to explain the amazing experience we as a company has experiences during this time.   First things first I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved to allow this dream to be a reality, Lanham for the development, my IT manager for not just finding Demand Planning but sharing it with us, upper management for trusting not just the program but its employees that we could make it work and my co-workers for being willing to step out of their comfort zone and learning something completely different.   8 months ago, ...

Hi, data backups is one of the most missed features in d365bc. So i checked out the feature list of current d365bc, what can be used for that functionality or is an extension needed? So in the end i found the "Data Exports", a quite well known feature in NAV. I worked with D365BC - Austria. Currently i don't know what in detail are the differences between the localized versions, so please check, if data exports is available in "your" d365bc. ;-) For the full posting follow  https://moxie4nav.wordpress.com/2018/07/22/d365bc-data-backups/ cheers

Monitoring Food Transportation From "Farm To Fork" While still in its early stages, blockchain promises to become the next disruptive technology that must be addressed by SMB executives today. But just like any new technology, it is done with proper planning and insight. NGL isn’t just talking about blockchain, but is playing a active part in its development and use as a leader in the food supply chain industry. For NGL, blockchain today means several things. First, blockchain does not exist in a silo. Like any technology, blockchain will need to be woven into the fabric of the wider IT enterprise like ERP and MRP systems. In this regard, NGL is developing ...
