    Hello Boston Chapter Members,

I would like to resurrect the Boston Chapter and starting my efforts now. I am looking at venues, and yes we heard from others that the Cambridge Microsoft Office was inconvenient. If anyone wants to offer up their business conference room, please email me. I have a few places that are UG members and checking how we can use the facility.

While we work on location, I am looking for 2 volunteers to help run the Boston Chapter. Please email me your name and email if you are interested. It will not take much time each quarter to prepare and setup the event with speakers. I will be here to assist, as always.

Here are the Meeting Dates I am thinking about:

    March 26
    June 25
    September 24
    December 17

We would start the meetings around 10AM and end at 2PM. Email back your thoughts on the date and time. I want to get these dates publish before January. Please email back if you want to offer up your location for a meeting, want to volunteer, and thoughts on dates.

As always if you need to speak with me feel free to email or call 774-254-1185. To all Boston Chapter members, a very Happy Holidays and a healthy, prosperous, and safe New Year.

    Steve

    Hello Boston Chapter Members,

I am adding to this email a question to all...  To make our Chapter the best and diverse how far are you willing to travel? Let me give an example or two:

    1. Lets' say we held our 4 hour meeting and it about 1.5 hours from your location. Is this OK or just too far?

    2. Lets' say we held our 4 hour meeting and then a special event after doing something. Are you willing to travel 2 hours from your location? Is this OK or just too far?

Please email back so I know how everyone feels.
    Thank you,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I would prefer 2 hours drive if we are having a social event or some activity after the meeting. 3 hours drive doesn't make sense for just a 4 hour meeting. Thus, I vote for option 2.

    Thanks,
    Meenakshi
