Hi I want to change the company that a user is in through a URL parameter, wondering if this is possible through query string parameters or would require a custom page through AL code?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean or if maybe you mean a URL for a cloud hosted version.  The path below works for an installed role tailored client.

Lewis's answer is the traditional RTC, if you are asking for the SaaS or browser based version the answer is 100% yes, thats actually how the system does the changing. You can simply add (it's already there) the company to the query string:

    ?company=[Company name here]

Almost everything can be accessed through the querystring in the SaaS version, for example if I want to access a specific page I can add:

    ?Page=[Page ID here]

Powerful ability to bookmark exactly where you want to be in your browser!

thanks all, I got this working, and have integrated data between business central and Salesforce so that we can search and find business central data in salesforce and click through to BC to view the data!
