Positive Pay basically does this:
1. Choose a filename for the export
2. Find the check ledger entries that need to be exported
3. Write those records to the file
That error message looks like it is failing at step 2, meaning it can't find any records to export. It already chose a filename, didn't write anything to it, and thus the file doesn't exist later in the process. You don't say which version you are using but the screen snap error message looks like version 10.0 which is NAV 2018.
Are you sure you have eligible Positive Pay check ledger entries to export? You can run that table directly from Object Designer. I do not have NAV 2018 available, so I may not get the field name exactly right, but there is a field called Positive Pay Exported. This prevents the system from exporting the same payment more than once. Make sure that flag isn't already checked.
Is this a new problem, meaning it used to work and now stopped, or has Positive Pay never worked for you?
