I would like to personalize the Sales Order List page with the field "Qty to Ship" but it doesn't exist under "Add Field to Page" What can I do to make this field available?

    Hi Tim,

The Sales Order List Page is based on the header level of the sales document and the Qty to Ship is at the line level so you can't grab that field into the list page. If an order had 100 lines it wouldn't be enough detail to tell what is going on. To achieve what you are looking for you may need a partner to extend that field out to the header but understand any order with multiple lines that won't make much sense if they are shipped seperately. Alternatively there is a page not visible by default through the menu for Sales Order Lines that you can access (via item card) or have a developer make available in the primary window to see line by line. (Note the lines table includes many of the key header fields as well).

    Tim,

Although there is no Quantity to Ship field on the Sales Header, if you access this information Sales Order Statistics page - you will see the total Quantity on the order.  This field is generated by adding up the quantities on each of the lines, when the page is generated.  If this is something you would like to add to the Sales Order List page, it could be done, but I would be concerned with it causing performance issues.  Depending on the number of line items that you have on your orders and the number of orders you have, this could cause the page generation to suffer.

A better option would be to use a factbox on the infopane to display the sales order statistics for each order, based on which line is focused.
