    Hi,

We are considering turning on "change log" for:

    1.  Lot Size
    2.  Reorder Point
    3.  Reorder Quantity

    *

Our goal is to make sure we've updated all of our items as of a certain date - then, be able to run a report every X months to make sure we update "any items not updated within the last Y months."

We have several people working on this at the same time - it's hard for us to know "what items still need updating?" without keeping a separate Excel sheet.

Any thoughts or suggestions how to do this better?

Is the change log a good approach?  Is that reportable?

    Thanks,

    -Kevin

    Kevin,

If I follow you, you want to run a report every few months to see if 3 fields have be modified by a certain date. Change Log will record modifications to the 3 fields by date/time. This is a good way to achieve this requirement. You can create a Jet Report to produce the information from the Change Log and Item Card.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for validating that the "path to the goal" is feasible, and a good solution.

I will ask team to look into.

    Regards,

    -Kevin
