    #NAV2017

    Good day!
Does anyone know how to solve this error message? User is getting the message when trying to update a PO.

    Limited user
Trying to change data on the purchase order
Permission sets give them the ability to update a purchase order

"You do not have the following permissions on TableData OCR Service Setup:Read"

    Thanks!

Your user needs a permission set that provides READ access to table 1270 (OCR Service Setup).

    Hi @Ruth Entwistle,

We had a similar situation in #NAV2016 where the users had appropriate permission but received that error when using a limited license.

I'm not sure of the exact limitations of the limited license, but we found if they open NAV, and go directly to the table/page (i.e. Purchase Orders) they're needing, they're able to do what they need.

However, if they go to other pages first (i.e. a Sales Order, then the customer card, then the requisition worksheet, then the Purchase Order), they would receive the error.

The only other way to get around the error, that we found, was to assign them a full user license.
