COGS in SSRS Report

    Good morning,
    I am trying to figure out how I calculate COGS in and SSRS report. I can see the 'actual cost' in the Item Ledger Entries table in NAV and then filter on Type = Output to get COGS. is COGS just Output or is it some other type as well?  I checked the Item Ledger Entry table in my SQL Management Studio and there is not a field for Actual Costs which means that it is probably a calculated field being populated on the Item Ledger Entries Page.
    I am looking to find COGS for items for a specific date range
    For Example:
    Item No.    Sales          Qty         Avg Sales Price             Total COGS        Avg Cost per Unit      Avg Margin per Unit

    Hi Mike:

    Use the Value Entry table.  You may also want Cost Amount Expected or Cost Amount Non-Invt. depending on how your process works.  Sales Amount is there also, for that consider pulling discount amount as well, also on the value entry lines.

    Mike - have you tried the standard report found in GL 'Cost Shares Breakdown'. If you are FIFO costing this is an out of the box breakdown of Sales, WIP, and on-hand inventory.
