Not able to post maintenance item to fixed asset after fixed asset is disposed
Was able to do this in NAV 2016 not able in BC
Perhaps a configuration were missing?

Good day. I just tested this in BC 17. Let me walk you through my test. I Acquired an Asset on 1/1/19 and depreciated it thru 11/30/20. On 12/11/20 I disposed of the Asset. Below is the FA Ledger for my Asset (picture 1). ON 12/15/20 I booked a Maintenance Entry, via FA G/L Journal for Oil Change and Tire Rotation (pictures 2 and 3). All posted correctly. Can you send pictures of the Purchase Invoice or FA G/L Journal Preview Posting to see what is not working?

I was testing this in BC15 and it would not post the purchase invoice.  After reading your reply, I tried and successfully posted the Fixed Asset G/L Journal.  There seems to be an extra test that the Purchase Invoice goes through.  By the way, I did try turning off the Use FA Check Ledger test.

I was able to post the fixed asset maintenance items using the FA GL journal
This acheived the end result
