Cannot combine Essentials and Premium

    Hi,

    I'm new in the D365 and BC universe. If my question is not relevant to this forum I'm sorry.

    I'm new to a business that uses D365 and BC. When they started they have purchased Premium licences, but realized they do not need it and move down to Essentials.

    They have 3 accounts all of them are on Essentials, but only one is working. All the other users got an error message : Cannot open the company, you cannot combien Essentials and Premium... (it's my onw translation, the error is in french)

    I'm not able to figure out why one is working while they others don't as they all are in Essentials.

    Can you help us?

    Hi,
    After you have changed the plan in the admin portal, you need to update Business Central. This article described how (the other way, but it's the same process) . I hope it helps.

    We got back to the error!

    Here's what happen. Yesterday we had our licences back to Premium and does the update in Business Central. At this point 1 of our 3 licences was still working. So we get back to Premium and it works.

    This morning we really want to go back to Essentials. So we change our licences to Essentials, go throught the same process but set BC to Essentials. Now none of our licences works.

    I don't know what I can do
