    Good Morning,
Does anyone know how to do a purchase order directly from the Job Card.

    Thank you,

It can be done through the Requisition Worksheet.  First, go to the Job Planning Lines and enter the item and quantity.  Click the Usage Link box for that item.  This will allow the item and quantity to then be included on the requisition worksheet.  Creating PO's directly from the Job Planning Lines would require customization (I believe).

Expanding on David's suggestion, the Requisition Worksheet can give you a a purchase suggestion tied to a Job running the "Calc. Plan" function.  It does require you to use the "Order" Reordering Policy for the Item.  I would encourage you to thoroughly test this process as the Order policy will set a reservation against the Item, and does not factor in Inventory (Qty. on Hand) of the Item.  Very common scenario in a lot of Job Shops, but something you want to be aware of.

The ability to create the PO (Req. Worksheet Lines) directly from the Job requires a customization.  If you are going to start customizing Jobs, I would encourage you to look at some of the available add-on products for Jobs.
