Customer Name on Sales Line View

  • 1.  Customer Name on Sales Line View

With in the Sales Lines list view we can currently see the Sell To and Bill To Customer No.. Though my Sales Team and I are also wanting to view the Customer Name as well. Is there a way to populate this information on the Sales Line list view?

    Thank,

The easiest method would be to add a flowfield to table 37 (Sales Lines) which pulls the Customer name based on the Sell-to or Bill-to Customer number.  This name field can then be added to page 516 (Sales Lines) so you can see it.  You can also add a lookup to the page itself, but this tends to be slower to refresh and non-sortable.

Sounds like you just need to personalize the sales line view.

In the sales line view, go to settings, personalize, then add a field.
Drag the field called "sell-to customer name" into the list where you want to see it.

From the item card, click on the flow field of 'Qty. on Sale Orders' and it take you to the 'Sales Line' List View.

You can't do it through personalization as the field is not in Sales Line table

@Mark Anderson you are correct.  I misread the request as Sales order list view.

I would rather modify the Sales Order Subform (46) instead of modifying table.
