AR Aging by Bill-to with Sell-to Customers itemized below

Hi NAV/BC community, as a more junior consultant I am hoping to gain some input from more seasoned folks out there with the below reporting need I am handling for one of my clients:

A client has Bill-to and Sell-to Customers and needs to produce an Aged Accounts Receivable report that captures the details of which invoices for each sell-to customer under the bill-to customer are still outstanding. It should look like this:
    Aged accounts receivable rpt
The only way I am able to achieve this result is by assigning the Bill-to Customer as the Parent on the Sell-to (or child's) Customer master record and then at the time of sales invoice entry against the sell-to customer - change the Bill-to Customer in the Shipping & Billing FastTab to that of the sell-to (or child) customer. This seems contrary to how commonsense would suggest this works but have now validated this functionality both in the SaaS model and in NAV on prem. The report is run where Bill-to Customer = the parent.

Is there a way to achieve this report without messing with any Bill-to/Sell-to assignments that are set on the customer master record? Maybe in the form of a different report? I would think that this type of reporting need is relatively commonplace, and wanted to see if anyone else in the community has had experience with this. Definitely appreciate any insight here.

    Thanks guys!

This would require a customization, but it shouldn't be too difficult.  The Sell-To Customer number is already being captured in the Cust. Ledger Entry table, so adding a group by for the Sell-To Customer should be too hard.  Reach out to your partner for help with this.  This option is not a bad idea for an enhancement of this report.
