    Hi All

Working on a custom RDCL report in v13 on prem

I've used SSRS a ton. Set text box properties for date on invoice to MM/DD/YY; however, it still displays as MonthName d, YYYY

Anyone know how to change this, or why it doesn't use the formatting from the RDLC?

    Thanks

    Mark

Short follow up. but not a solution.

    Found this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/format-property

    But no option for mm/dd/yyyy

    Hi Mark,

    Try using <Month,2><Day,2><Year4>

Some reports do the date formatting in the code, before displaying it in the report.
That means whatever you put as format on the field doesn't matter, as at that point it is already considered "Text".
