  • 1.  Lanham Pick Optimization

Im back, with another addition of who uses Lanham?

On today's episode, I want to ask about combo line picks without using wave picks.

Here's the rub: Im not setup for wave picks, and we found in a quick test, even if I was it will knee cap my current packing process. We more or less pack off of paper and NAV is "blind".  Not saying optimal, but let us fix one thing at a time.  My pickers see on their handguns more or less 20 lines for the same bin/item no/lot.

From what I can tell there's no way to optimize this on the gun itself, this is a Lanham in Outbound Warehouse thing. The problem is, this makes them scan each line, 1 by 1 by 1 - get lucky if a customer themselves order 2 then that's one line. When a pick could contain like 20+ of the same item. So to say, it's annoying and slowing my process.

Anyone have any suggestions using Combined Picks how to get the pick on the handhelds to lump similar items while still maintaining the pack list separated out by order then by item? Good with code or report changes, i.e. doesn't have to just be config if someone has background code changed.

P.S. I've also reached out to Lanham, just seeing what some of my awesome peers have done or if I find the solution can post it to share this.
