Shipping Report

  • 1.  Shipping Report

    Good Morning,
I'm looking for a report in NAV 2016 that will show me the following items:
Sales Order number, Sales Order line item number, Item Number, Quantity Ordered, Quantity Shipped, Ship Status (open, partial, closed by line).
Is this something out of the box?  Or something we would need create using Power BI?
They are wanting to look at more "future" things than what has already happened.
    Any suggestions?

    Good Morning Robin,

A couple of reports you could try that I found in 2015 so expect they are still there in 2016. I hope you find this helpful.

    1) Report ID 7313 Whse. Shipment Status (assuming you use WH Shipments). This is a report you could run if your WH Shipment is not yet posted. See screen shot below as looks to provide most of the info you are looking for.

    2) Report ID 10077 Sales Shipment (for posted Shipments). See example screen shots below:

Sounds like the 'Sales Order Status' report to me, which is a standard report.  Of course, if the data is not presented in the exact format you are looking for, then you may want to consider Power BI using the 'Sales Line' as your primary data source with some filters set.

Hi Robin - I believe this will do what you are looking for- it is a useful way to look at lines for sales orders and purchase orders etc.
I find this blog has very useful topics and clear instructions.
Let me know if it helps. We are always trying to find a way to manage backorder, which is hard for us because we are item lot tracked, but do not use inventory picks or warehouse picks- so it is hard to know without opening the order and then the item tracking screen, which backorders are now allocated.
