Register Time not tracking some users

    Hi All:

    I have a situation where some of my users time registry is not working even though the register time is turned on in the user setup. I've checked each of the users and know for fact they have been in our NAV 17 Production and training dbs. We have several add-ons: Trimit and DMS warehousing, but don't think that is the issue. Has anyone every ran into this?

    Hi Dennis,

    Please make sure they close NAV. The register will not work if they leave the session open. Hope this helps.

    Hi Dennis,

    If these users aren't defined in the User Setup table, make sure that the Register Time field is enabled in the General Ledger Setup table.

    Why is Register Time in the General Ledger Setup?  Is there another purpose for it other than tracking a user's time?  Are there any ramifications to watch out for when turning it on in the General Ledger Setup?

    Thanks Kelly and Eduardo.

    I'm constantly instructing our users to log out correctly. I sent the register Boolean this morning, had all logout, bought NAV down and back up and it appears to be working now. I appreciate the suggestions. Totally forgot about G/L setup area.
