ADP import to Recurring General Journal

I thought I saw something recently about importing ADP data into Navision, but I can't remember where it was or exactly what it was as at the time I wasn't focused on that. I don't remember if this was at Summit, a webinar, one of these discussions, or some other google search. Does anyone recall what I may have seen? Looking for a mind reader here :)

Or does anyone do this already? Ultimately, I'm looking to export a CSV file from ADP and import it into General Journal. I imagine I could probably use rapid start, but that seems intimidating to rapid start into the General Journal Lines. Any suggestions on using rapid start or any other tool?

    H Joshua,
ADP has something that will link with NAV.  We are not yet a partner with them which I believe you must be to re-sell the product they have created. We have seen a demo and can probably give you an idea of what it will do but I don't think we are currently selling it. I have sent this post over to your account manager to get in touch with you. I will be interested to see other replies here from anyone that has already implemented!

Thanks Crystal. I did hear from Joe. He is looking into whether this is available for Nav 2013 (I should've mentioned that's our version in my original post).

    Joshua,

If you're looking for a simple export from ADP and import into NAV Gen Jnl, then I would suggest copy and paste.  You're right, Rapidstart can be a little intimidating and it's almost easier just to copy and paste into a journal entry.  I know someone who does this for their Concur output file. The only suggest I would have is to have ADP export into Excel as opposed to CSV.

Jimmy, your solution works perfectly! I don't know why I didn't think to try that. I guess I assumed that you couldn't paste into a general journal.

    THANK YOU!
