    We have just converted to Business Central and are working on getting our vendor payments to work. In order to generate the EFT file to upload to the bank, we have to choose a balancing line of "bank account" on each vendor line. However then when you go to post this in the payment journal it will post each EFT payment separately, even though the payment comes out of the bank as a batch payment.

    Is there anyway to post Electronic vendor payments as a batch in BC? Or does each individual payment line have to get posted to the bank account separately? Any Suggestions?

    Each line in the payment journal has a specific document number and is a balanced entry, debiting the vendor and crediting the bank. There is nothing that I know of that will make a single bank entry.  Recommendation is that you note your o/s check value, clear all remittance entries for a specific date, compare the o/s check value and verify that amount is on the bank statement. If you are doing electronic bank reconciliation its a little more difficult.

    In TEST, you might try setting your journal to not have 'force doc balance' checked, leave off the balance account of bank account and see if  you can process. I've never tried this, so let me know....
