When setting up the correspondence field with in Nav. How would you determine which of the three option available (hard copy, email, fax)is to be set against that contact?

    Hi:

This field is used to determine what communication method should be used.  I've used it primarily in campaigns and segments when you're sending mail blasts to contacts.

    Good luck!

    Jason,
This is a default setting for the Contact.  It can be changed when you are creating a new interaction.  If you are just starting to use the Relationship Management functionality in Business Central, I would recommend using the method you most commonly use to interact with your contacts now.  Have the Users update the type of communication, when they use another method for their interactions.  After a month or two, you can review the logged interactions and update this field on the contacts where necessary.
