NAV Integration - Salesforce

Does anyone have suggestions on ways to integrate NAV to a software product that has Salesforce as its backbone? We are not connecting directly to Salesforce, but instead to a contract management software that has Salesforce powering it on the back end.

    I appreciate any insight.

    Thanks!

That is a broad question. It depends on what you are looking to integrate and what the capabilities of the contract management product are. We are in a project where we are providing web services to Dell Booming which is updating Salesforce. Not a project for the faint of heart.

    Hi Ron,

It would be bringing in contract data from the Salesforce tool into NAV and our jobs module. We use NAV Jobs to represent the contracts.

Smart Connect from EOne Solutions might do what you need.  it is a great product we have used for syncing data between systems.
We use it to sync contact between Microsoft CRM and Business Central and have had customers use it for a variety of different data transfer solutions..

Thanks Kevin. I will do more research on this with our operations and IT teams. I remember EOne from a couple Summit presentations.

    Thanks,
    Lukas

we integrate BC data with salesforce (and vice versa) and use Streamsets (ETL) and snowflake (warehouse).

We have customers, vendors, invoices (customer ledger - AR and vendor ledger - AP), sales invoice headers, GL Transactions, GL accounts, fixed assets and dimension values integrated.  It's been a good chunk of work but valuable to understand out the front end and sales connects to the back end (billing, customer/vendor mgmt, accounting)

So far most everything we have done has been custom.

Lukas I have heard good things about a tool typically used by Salesforce folks called Mulesoft.  It might be worth checking out to compare to eOne.  Please share what you implement with the group.  This is an interesting one.

There's a company that I've seen a few times and have had some recommendations from colleagues called Kingsway Soft.

I have not used it but I have heard good things about it.
