Lot Expiration missing from some transactions.

  • 1.  Lot Expiration missing from some transactions.

I've always questioned why some transactions in NAV/BC don't carry a lot expiration date like transfer shipments out of a location, but I am particularly baffled as to why some of the sales shipment transactions in the image below do not carry the expiration date.

The transactions are listed in sequence and are all for the same item number and lot number.  The adjustments in May were from a Physical inventory and the positive adjustment has an expiration date, but the shipment transactions that follow do not!  Then after another physical adjustment in October, the following sales shipments do have a lot expiration date.

This image below is how we have item lot tracking defined.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks and Happy New Year!
