Power BI, Power Apps and Flow

    Hi All,

Looking for some advice. Would like to pick up some additional skills around Power BI and maybe Power Apps and Flow however not sure where to start. There appears to be a lot of webinars and information available but looking for essentially a roadmap of where to start and logical next steps rather than potentially dropping into the middle of something. At present it would be difficult for me to attend e.g. a consecutive 4 day bootcamp or the like. Could possible do a couple weekends/nights that sort of thing. Does anyone have any recommended starter material or approach (of course including the potential intricacies of how it connects with BC/NAV) and a roadmap of what courses or material to follow to begin to build up this knowledge or working with these tools?

Thanks very much for your advice!

    Hi Jim,

Speaking to powerBI specifically... I started with a 10 hour course on a site called Udemy. This was an introduction course not geared towards NAV/BC specifically but it was a great foundation to starting with the program. About a year later I took a 3 day boot camp offered through NAVUG that was a great value and taught me a lot.

I don't have a specific roadmap for you however I found my path to be more then sufficient in preparing me to create valuable reports and dashboards for the company I work for.  The udemy course was ~20$ and is on demand so you can work on it on your own schedule.  Once you understand the basics of the program, and understand the NAV tables already - you are well on your way.
