There is the NAV 2015 Excel Addin that should let you have a "refreshable" spreadsheet.
You're probably best off to have 2 workbooks. 1 has your data from excel. 2 has your product data with pictures etc... Then you join the two spreadsheets (see if MS Power Query will do this - native to Excel - easy to use).You might also be able to have a sheet in your master workbook.Finally ... ODATA would work. I have a blog on using ODATA ... https://www.sabrelimited.com/blogs/odata-with-business-central/The blog is for Business Central but the same technique should work in NAV 2015 if memory serves me right. I'm pretty sure the ODATA web services were in that version.
