Inbound Receiving - Inspections

Are there any NAV tools or processes that help your warehouse receiving team know when to perform inspections, and what to inspect prior to posting a receipt?  We're on 2013 R2.

Out of the box the answer is no.  You will need to find an ISV or create some IP.  If you have a 3rd party quality tool you may be able to use something like Microsoft Flow and a quarantine location.  The process would be that your receiving team would receive the product into a quarantined location, one you can't sell from, and this would trigger the Flow to activate the next step which could be a notification to your quality team that items are ready for inspection.

We have created our own QA module function.
Items are identify to be inspected or not, and when the item is received if the inspection flag is on the system create an inspection job to the Qc module and move the item to a specific location. Then an inspector is assigned and perform his inspection. We have different disposition that he can assign to the received item i.e.: Good, rework, return, scrap etc.
