Looking for third party solutions to plug in to NAV

Hi-- I am specifically looking for a tax solution for Withholding taxes. I've already spoken with Avalara and Vertex and they do not have this capability.  We have multiple companies in different countries & states. Using NAV 2018.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Although the basic NAV/BC plug in offered by wolterskluwer.com
    https://taxna.wolterskluwer.com/sales-and-use-tax/indirect-sales-tax
does not mention withholding, I think you should still reach out to them directly or through your partner to see if they can address your needs.
If not withing the software plug in, perhaps as part of:
    https://taxna.wolterskluwer.com/sales-and-use-tax/services/outsourcing
    their professional services.

I think what your looking for is something more like Canarys Payroll add on since withholding tax at least that I'm aware of is mostly related to income tax and not sale/vat/use taxes.

Look for HR or Payroll modules as the taxing solutions will lead you to sales & Vat tax's.

Could you explain what you mean by "Withholding Taxes"?  Do you mean you want them to physically take money from your bank account and set it aside somewhere to pay sales taxes?

Yes, that's part of it. Automatically withholding tax from foreign entities/employees and then paying monthly to the country. We have companies across the world so can't be limited to a US only system.

    Thanks!

I am unaware of any third party (ISV) solutions to manage this. I think that you will need a business process tied into your payables process that Identifies foreign entities and creates two purchase invoices for each transaction (one payable to the foreign entity and one to the IRS). You will need to be able to cross reference the transactions for reporting and control purposes. Is the income being reported as 1099 income? Alternately, your partner can help you build some automation once you have the manual process working.
