Dimensional Weight Shipping Software for NAV & Sana

We are looking to integrate a dimensional weight shipping software into a Sana web store via Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central. We do a lot of International shipping, in addition to the United States, and would need a shipping software that can calculate dimensional weights, not just actual weight. This calculation would take place after the customer has added items to their shopping cart and entered their shipping address information. The website would then display the shipping options and costs to the customer. Our two main carriers are UPS and USPS (United States Post Office).
Has anyone had any success with any 3rd party vendors, or any custom table setups? Thanks

I custom built a system that does this, but only for domestic shipments.

Leveraging the item units of measure, I came up with a way to estimate the hypothetical pack-out (we do not require full case orders, which would make this even easier). I then had to build out an XML stream to send to FedEx for parcel, and our on prem install of Connect Ship Progistics for LTL/UPS. Then another bit of code to interpret the response accordingly. If I recall correctly, Lanham EShip had a rate shopping tool that would do something very similar if you don't want to build it yourself.

We are in the process of implementing Sana now and we are looking at  Lanham E-Ship integration to get the rate shopping based on dimensional weight.
