Does anyone have any experience using Conditionals on the EDI Cost Discrepancy Field for 855 Export to determine Line Acceptance Code, Item Accepted vs Item Discrepancy?  I am being told that we may not be able to do this.  Any help would be appreciated!!

    Chris,
Conditionals are used for inbound mapping only; however I think I can help you.  The "Bypass" mapping tools (they are Boolean fields) are used in lieu of Conditionals for outbound mapping.  First, I need know what the "Navision Document" is for the 855 mapping since Lanham EDI supports two different kinds based on licensing.  It will either be E_SLSPOA or E_ADVPOA.  I am going to assume that it is E_SLSPOA based on the way the question was worded.  If this is correct and you want to send an Item Acceptance Code = ID (Item Discrepancy) for those sales lines where "EDI Cost Discrepancy" = TRUE and "IA" (Item Accepted) in all other scenarios, then some creative mapping may be done.  I would create 2 Segments; ACK-IA and ACK-ID.  I would hardcode the Item Acceptance Code for each respectively.  Then, I would create an Element that has no Element No., nor Length and map to the Sales Line "EDI Price Discrepancy" and enable "Bypass Segment if Blank" for the ACK-IA and enable "Bypass Segment if NOT Blank" for the ACK-ID.  This way, either one or the other Segments will be used based upon whether the "EDI Price Discrepancy" flag is enabled on the sales lines.  I have attached screen shots for your review.  Hope this helps you out!
