Using NAV 2016 and I'm trying to have my prices automatically updated for items from a website. Is there anyway to link this site and its prices on NAV?

    Jaquavius,

There is always a way! Really though the answer is not something that you can just directly connect to a site and have the pricing update. If the site in question is one of your vendors, check if they can send you a file format vs you needing to crawl (technical term) their website. If they won't provide that then its a matter of how the website works, logic can go through a website identifying and pulling data out for you to utilize in your price list. Note, either option likely requires some manipulation of data to get it either importable or automated into the system for you.

I have received an excel pricing list from a vendor but where can I upload this file in NAV in order for prices to update?
    Thanks for the help!

I don't recall what version of NAV you are on, but RapidStart Configuration Packages work well for pricing updates.

I have a pricing configuration package in Rapidstart that includes Tables 6 (Customer Price Group), 27 (Item), and 7002 (Sales Price)

Table 7012 Purchase Price is your cost from your vendor. The tables you list are for your customers, so retail price.

You could look up the price from the website during sales line creation or you could schedule a job to update all item prices in the NAV Sales Price table at whatever frequency you desire. Or (as Spencer suggested) you could get a file from your vendor and upload that. Any way you go, either you or your partner will need to write the code to make it happen--but shouldn't be too terrible either way.
File upload is definitely the cheapest route--albeit the most manual and therefore more costly in the long-term. If you really wanted to avoid custom code, and you like the file from the vendor approach, you could format the vendor file to match the Sales Price table and then copy/paste the new prices into NAV.

To Greg's point, you can either copy paste to the price sheet on the front end or setup a Configuration Package (RapidStart) file to import an excel file in. There will be a copy paste exercise without doing some custom stuff to get the file from them in the right format for those options.
