    Hello NAVUG Los Angeles Chapter,

I'm the director of IT for Roland Americas and current PM for the NAV implementation, our go live target date is April 1st, though I have still some time, I would like to have some key resources trained before the actual Workshop starts (Mid January). for that reason I searching for open training for the team. we are implementing NAV 2016 and we already have an NA Cronus Demo database.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Best regards,

    How are you?!

Are you looking for onsite training? remote? accounting? operations? etc?

NAVUG has great training videos, and there are some good E-learning via Microsoft CustomerSource.
Are you all signed up for that?
your NAV partner can do that for you.

I also like this website for great end user "documentation" on how NAV works. Granted, it's not exactly NAV 2016, but still helpful:

    Good luck!

    Hello Mike,

I'm so happy to bump into you again!! Hope things are gong great. we are looking for functional training for accounting and also security administration. Ideally we would like to do it off site but we understand we may need to do it here. We are going to sign with Sikich once the SOW is created by PIPol.

Tank you for replying back to my message,

Look forward to working with you again

    Hello Emilio,

I'm glad to hear you're getting out in front of your NAV implementation as far as training goes. My company implemented NAV a couple years ago and used multiple sources of training (as mentioned by @Mike Loumeau):

The thing that benefited us the most was to analyze our business processes and practices to determine whether we needed to customize NAV to fit how we do things, or change how we do things to benefit from a more efficient "NAV Way". This process took several months and was pretty painful.

The end result was an ERP implementation that was right for us.

That said, I lead the SoCal NAVUG chapter and am planning a meeting for early February 2019. Our local meeting is a great place to meet with other users that have been in your same shoes and to learn something new about NAV. Please watch for an announcement soon with all the details and feel free to contact me directly with any questions/issues that come up in the meantime.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
