Hello NAVUG Summit Attendees,

NAVUG Summit Nashville is the 10th Anniversary of NAVUG Summit! Super excited that you will be part of this milestone event. Let's share what we love about NAVUG Summit or what we hope to experience. If you've been to NAVUG Summit in the past, please share what you most enjoyed about being there. If this is your first NAVUG Summit, please share what you are looking forward to the most.

I'll start:
This will be my 4th Summit and I've most enjoyed seeing the networking that takes place during sessions and in the Expo. And all the great content that is shared.

This is my 2nd summit. I love all the help I get from other Nav users. And the breakout sessions. And being able to really learn from the experts. I am in finance and the first summit I went to was so helpful. I encourage other users to go and think outside the box on so many different things. I am so looking forward to Nashville.

Thanks

This will be my 2nd Summit and I find it helpful to talk to folks after sessions and go more in depth with the topics discussed.  Meeting & networking with people of the same industry is by far the best take away!

Hello,
This is my second summit and I am so excited!
I enjoyed seeing the add-ons available for NAV. It helped with our NAV roadmap decisions.
The breakout sessions are very informative. There is so much to see, I suggest having a plan if it is your first summit!
I can't wait for Nashville!

This is my 9th or 10th - I've lost track! I'm looking forward to connecting with friends and clients again.

My favorite things about Summit are the conversations that happen outside of the sessions - the sessions are awesome, but the conversations they spark are where it's at!

This is my seventh Summit (of course the first few were "NAVUG Forum").   Reconnecting with the core group of people that have been attending for years is always nice, but meeting the newer attendees is what it's all about.  People attending their first Summit are typically in awe and raving about it's value by day 2.

My advice would be to split up at meals/networking opportunities and sit with people you do not know.  It's easy to sit with who you know, but not nearly as valuable.  Need a conversation starter?  "How does your company use NAV?"

You'll be off and running 😊

This is my fourth summit and I always enjoy networking with peers, learning new tips, and tricks to get a better handle on Nav functionality. Thanks to dynamics community always working towards making it a better experience for everyone than the last one.

Looking forward to this year's fun sessions!

This will be my 4th Summit and I'm amazed at how much it has grown in such a short amount of time.  The attention to detail, high production values, endless volunteers, Microsoft support and great leadership at the top make this the "can't miss" event of the year!  I always come away with new ideas that benefit my team and my company.

I'm looking forward to connecting with colleagues and meeting new people along the way, too!  See you soon!

This will be my fourth Summit (2009-Chicago, 2010-Orlando, 2015-Reno).  I attended Convergence nine times...that must count for something. :-)

We're getting close to Giddy-up time and I am very much looking forward to reuniting with old friends, learning so many new things and having new ideas triggered by hearing about everyone else's experiences and knowledge.

BTW, check out the TRADE track this year.  It is filled with awesome sessions were you can learn more about CRM, eCommerce, Pricing, Advanced Forecasting and Procurement, Mobility, Managing Deductions, and so much more!

Okay users....let's see if we can get all of the years and locations. Do I have the list right?

2017 Nashville -
2016 Tampa -
2015 Reno
2014 St Louis -
2013 Tampa
2012 Seattle
2011 Las Vegas
2010 Orlando -
2009 Chicago -
2008 Henderson/Las Vegas -

Anyone remember meetings before 2008 to get organized?

These were pretty much done at Convergence right? I think the initial organizational meeting was in Houston, there were meetings in Orlando and Atlanta, I think to help organize Day One events at Convergence. Some of these initial tries were prior to 2008 and the entire group in attendance could fit around about 2 round tables!!

Mark, it would be interesting to see how attendance and user members has grown over the years....

Nice job @Kim Dallefeld ! That list brings back many good memories of NAVUG Summit and how much we've grown and learned something new each year to improve Summit for the next year.  I've sold NAVUG Summit sponsorships for every one of the years and locations you listed and it is wonderful to see new sponsors every year.   Summit Nashville will welcome 61 NAVUG Summit specific sponsors  who provide tremendous knowledge and solutions for NAVUG Summit attendees!  We are looking forward to a vibrant and fun expo hall in Nashville!

This will be Summit #4 for me (actually 2 as Forum and 2 as Summit).  I also have 4 for Convergence and 1 Focus.

Let's not forget the short Focus list:
2016 - Chicago
2017 - St. Louis

I love the networking and helping myself and other solve issues.  I always learn a new way to work whenever I go.

See y'all in a couple of weeks.
