BCUG|NAVUG Professional Certificates do not expire.
Assessment questions focus on supported releases at the time the assessment is taken.
There is a small fee to take an assessment. This helps to cover the cost of professionally proctoring the assessment online while maintaining the integrity of the items contained within the assessments.
Yes, candidates can elect to purchase and schedule an individual assessment as many times as needed to earn the certificate. I minimum of 1 week is required between retakes.
Yes, you do not need to attend or take part in the supportive learning opportunities to earn your BCUG|NAVUG Professional Certificate. All candidate needs to do is pass the assessment to earn the certificate.
Quick Study Guides are free and can be found in the Resource Library. Academy Training classes are available and can be purchased. Live instructor-led classes can be registered for online and any on-demand training courses available they can be purchased via a shopping cart on the user group website. No, Academy Training Courses contain some topics designed to prepare you for the Professional Certificate, but they are not a comprehensive study guide and cannot guarantee your ability to pass the assessment.
Professional Certificate recipients will receive a digital BCUG/NAVUG Professional Certificate, an electronic Professional Certificate signature mark, a Professional Certificate badge on the BCUG|NAVUG website and will also have their name added to the BCUG|NAVUG Professionals lists. Professionals may also have their name published in various blogs, discussions, magazine articles, and other promotional materials.
